The practice provides some evening and weekend extended hours. These appointments are pre-booked only. All emergency calls during this time will be dealt with by the out-of-hours service, Westcall.
Extended hours are: Wednesday 6.30-8.30pm, Thursday 6.30-8.30pm (three evenings a month), and Saturday (once a month) 8.30 - 11.30am.
Please telephone reception if you require an appointment during these hours.
Extended hours are for pre-booked appointments only. Prescriptions, letters etc will not be available to be collected at these clinics.

There is always a doctor available for emergencies during surgery hours.

WESTCALL provides emergency medical cover
as commissioned by NHS Berkshire West outside of our surgery hours, i.e.
from 6.30pm to 8.00am Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 6.30pm Friday to
8.00am Monday. Please phone 978 7811. (If you do phone the surgery
out of hours, a recorded message will be heard telling you to phone the Westcall
number. Please listen carefully to the complete message and have a pen and paper
ready.)

is absolutely necessary.

The receptionists take calls on this line from 8.00am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Outside these hours a recorded message will give you the number to ring in a medical
emergency.
DISABLED ACCESS
This is via the front entrance.
There is good wheelchair access on the ground floor and facilities include a disabled
toilet. If you need help with access, ring the door bell at the patients'
entrance and a receptionist will come to your aid. If you have any problem accessing
any of our services, please mention it to the receptionist, who will usually be
able to offer a solution.
PARKING
There are spaces outside the practice
reserved for doctors only. We regret that we do not have our own car park, but
parking is available nearby or in one of the short-term car parks in the area.
The on-road parking in Priory Avenue is only available from 9.00am to 5.30pm.
