Welcome to Priory Avenue Surgery
At Priory Avenue Surgery in Caversham the doctors and nurses take pride in offering the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. We run many clinics for chronic disease care and offer a wide variety of other medical services such as ante-natal and post-natal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well person check-ups.
Breast Cancer Campaign
Staff and patients raised £230 during October for the Breast Cancer Campaign. To find out more, click on the Fundraising tab under Further Information.
Patient Group Survey
The Practice Patients' Group consists of current patients who are helping the practice provide a better service. The Group is looking into experiences of being a patient at this surgery. The Group has been handing out surveys in the practice together with the clinical staff. If you have not filled in a survey,it would help us greatly if you would complete the short survey below. This would give the Group and the practice an idea of where we can make improvements. Thank you.
Car Parking
There are spaces outside the surgery reserved for doctors only. We regret that we do not have our own car park, but parking is available nearby or in one of the short-term car parks in the area.
There is a disabled parking space outside the surgery for patients' use.
The on-road parking in Priory Avenue is only available for 2 hours slots from 9:00am to 5:30pm.
Accessibility
Disabled access is via the side entrance to the surgery (green door). There is good wheelchair access on the ground floor and a toilet suitable for wheelchairs. If you need help with access, please ring the doorbell at the main entrance and a receptionist will come to your aid. It is a good idea to mention your accessibility needs when you make your appointment. If you have a problem accessing any of our services please mention it to the reception staff.
