Welcome to Dr Funmi Chirnside - January 2017

We are delighted to welcome Dr Funmi Chirnside who has joined both Priory Avenue Surgery and Circuit Lane Surgery as our new Lead GP.
Dr Chirnside has a huge range of experience; she trained as an obstetrician and then as a GP in the Royal Navy. She left the Navy after 14 years and has since experienced working in prison healthcare, urgent care and in GP practices.
Dr Chirnside has a medical law and ethics degree and is passionate about mental health and wellbeing. She is also part of Dying Matters, a national organisation which promotes talking about and preparing for death and dying.
Dr Chirnside is bringing her enthusiasm and wealth of experience to both surgeries to help improve patient care.

  •  Priory Avenue Surgery is now operated by OneMedicalGroup
